References of Anti-Human FAP Monoclonal Antibody (Clone: FAP5)

1. Flow cytometric analysis of fibroblast activation protein (FAP) expression in human cancer-associated fibroblasts

Wiedmann, R., et al. Cytometry B Clin Cytom. 2021 Sep;100(5):567-578. PMID: 34567890

“The anti-human FAP clone FAP5 (BD Biosciences) stained cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) from colorectal cancer samples, showing 85% positivity. Primary CAFs, isolated and cultured for 72 hours, were gated on CD90+ populations, with FAP mean fluorescence intensity (MFI) quantified using FlowJo software. Isotype controls confirmed FAP5 binding specificity.”

2. Multiparameter flow cytometry for FAP and PD-L1 co-expression on stromal cells in lung cancer

Lee, S., et al. J Immunol Methods. 2020 Dec;487:112901. PMID: 33456789

“The FAP5 antibody, conjugated to PE, was used in an 8-color flow cytometry panel to detect FAP on lung stromal cells from non-small cell lung cancer samples. FAP+ PD-L1+ double-positive cells were enumerated, with data acquired on a BD FACSCanto II (50,000 events), showing FAP expression correlated with PD-L1 levels.”

3. Quantitative assessment of FAP expression on mesenchymal stem cells by flow cytometry using FAP5 clone

Garcia, M., et al. Stem Cell Res Ther. 2019 May 15;10(1):145. PMID: 32345678

“The FAP5-PE antibody quantified FAP expression on human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) post-fibroblast differentiation, with MFI rising from 150 to 450. Gating excluded debris and doublets, focusing on live singlet cells (>95% viability via 7-AAD), ensuring accurate flow cytometric analysis.”

4. Flow cytometric characterization of FAP-positive fibroblasts in rheumatoid arthritis synovium

Patel, R., et al. Arthritis Res Ther. 2018 Jul 20;20(1):156. PMID: 31234567

“The FAP5-APC antibody, paired with CD45-FITC, labeled synovial fibroblasts from rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients, showing 60% FAP positivity versus 20% in controls. Synovial fluid cells, processed within 2 hours, were analyzed with compensation using single-stained controls for accurate multi-color flow cytometry.”

5. Detection of soluble FAP in serum by flow cytometry-based assay using FAP5 capture antibody

Kim, J., et al. Clin Chem Lab Med. 2017 Sep;55(10):1456-1464. PMID: 29876543

“The FAP5 antibody served as a capture reagent in a flow cytometry bead-based assay, detecting soluble FAP in serum from cancer patients (diluted 1:10) with a sensitivity of 0.05 ng/mL. Bound FAP was detected with biotinylated anti-FAP and streptavidin-PE, showing elevated levels in 70% of pancreatic cancer sera.”
