Background Information:

PF-8380 is an orally bioavailable, potent and competitive inhibitor
of autotaxin (IC = 2.8 nM in enzyme assay; 101 nM in human whole blood).
It directly inhibits autotaxin activity, modulating lysophosphatidic
acid (LPA) levels in vivo and in vitro, and reduces LPA levels both in
plasma and at site of inflammation.
