Background Information:

GSK-923295 is a first-in-class high affinity antimitotic inhibitor of
centromere-associated protein E (CENP-E), potently and allosterically
inhibiting CENP-E ATPase activity with a Ki value of 3.2 nM (Ref. 1).
Display a broad-spectrum antiproliferative activity against a range of
human tumor xenografts grown in nude mice, including models of colon,
breast, ovarian, lung and other tumors. It is currently in clinical
evaluations.
