Product Introduction
Ultra GelRed is a novel nucleic acid dye that can replace ethidium bromide (EB). It has many advantages such as high sensitivity and strong thermal stability. It has higher detection sensitivity for trace DNA, especially trace small molecule DNA. Under the ultraviolet light, DNA exhibits red fluorescence. Ultra GelRed is applicable for dsDNA, ssDNA and RNA staining in agarose gels and polyacrylamide gels electrophoresis.

Non-toxic: Ultra GelRed’s macromolecular characteristics make it unable to penetrate the cell membrane and enter the cell. The results of the Ames test show that its mutagenicity is far less than EB;
High stability: suitable for preparing agarose gel using microwave or other heating methods;
