The recombinant anti-DNP monoclonal antibody, human IgG1 (a chimeric antibody with mouse antibody variable regions and human antibody constant regions) was produced in mammalian cells.
Background
Combined with the anti-DNP monoclonal antibody, the dinitrophenyl (DNP) hapten is an excellent alternative to biotin for use in applications requiring biotin-free systems. The anti-DNP antibody may recognize the DNP hapten for detection of DNP conjugated proteins and nucleic acids. Primary or secondary probes or antibodies labeled with DNP can be detected using the recombinant anti-DNP monoclonal antibodies.
