Biotinylated rtIgG2a Fc, and rtIgG2a Fc with Avi-, His-, and Flag-tags are also available. The in vivo grade recombinant rat IgG2a Fc protein (rtIgG2a Fc, Glu 98 – Lys 322 of the constant region of the IgG2a heavy chain, Accession # P20760) was produced in mammalian cells and purified by protein G. The rtIgG2a Fc protein includes the CH2 (115-212) and CH3 (221-317) domains of the heavy chain constant region as well as the hinge region (98-114) before the CH2 domain.
Molecular weight: Predicted 25.8 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the recombinant rat IgG2a Fc protein migrates to 32-35 kDa based on the Bis-Tris PAGE result.
