The in vivo grade recombinant llama IgG2b Fc protein (lIgG2b Fc, Glu 1 – Lys 243 of the constant region of the IgG2a heavy chain, Accession # AAX73259.1) was produced in mammalian cells and purified by protein A. The lIgG2b Fc protein includes the CH2 (28-137) and CH3 (138-243) domains of the heavy chain constant region as well as the hinge region (1-27) before the CH2 domain.
Molecular weight: Predicted 27.3 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the recombinant llama IgG2b Fc protein migrates to 35-40 kDa based on the Bis-Tris PAGE result.
